Freelance Designer
In summer 2007 Last.fm was looking for an intern to join their Design team for three months. I applied in June and started at the beginning of August.
In the middle of October that year, they asked me to stay for longer, and the three month internship turned into a full-time position as Designer within a team of six. With the change in my position, the workload and responsibilites changed too. I worked there until the end of January 2009.

I worked on interaction design elements including prototypes, and modular display components; as well as visual design elements.
New features included A personal music library; real-time charts and personal recommendations; and a dashboard.
We either worked directly with the client or with the creative or media agency.
I have worked on campaigns for Motorola, Nokia, Adidas, Coke, Converse, Dell, Logitech, Pontiac, Vodafone amongst many. The majority of these were bespoken ad integrations or communities within Last.fm.
Moreover I worked on internal promotions, eg. Last.fm/Presents or our Band Aid for the SXSW festival in 2008.
I was lucky to collaborate with a whole lot of talented designers and developers.
I especially want to mention my mentors Hannah Donovan, Matthew Ogle, Matthew Irvine Brown and David Nam.
